Laloo Yadav invites BJP's 'secular' allies over

Rashtriya Loktantrik Morcha (National Democratic Front) convenor Laloo Prasad Yadav today threw an open invitation to "all secular allies" of the Bharatiya Janata Party to join the coalition that the Opposition is trying to form at the Centre.

"They are welcome back as by now they must have tasted the BJP style of functioning," Yadav said, without naming anyone of those he was welcoming.

He said the new formation would be given shape "soon".

Yadav said RLM politicians would hold talks with the "friendly parties" after the arrival of the front's president, Mulayam Singh Yadav, who has rushed to see his ailing mother.
