Wet spell continues in Andamans

Heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, coastal Karnataka and Kerala during the next 48 hours.

Rain or thundershowers are likely at most places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, coastal Andhra Pradesh,Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka and Kerala, at many places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Konkan, Goa, Telengana and Lakshadweep, at a few places in Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Bihar, Central Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha and interior Karnataka, and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, East Uttar Pradesh, South Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country.

The Southwest monsoon has been active in coastal Andhra Pradesh.
