More rain in Andhra, Andamans

Heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalseema, coastal Karnataka and Kerala during the next 48 hours.

Rain or thundershowers are likely at most places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, at many places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Konkan, Goa, Telengana, Rayalseema, Tamil Nadu, coastal and south interior Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep, at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, West Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Central Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha and north interior Karnataka, and at isolated places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh and East Madhya Pradesh.

The weather will be mainly dry over the rest of the country.

The Southwest monsoon has been active in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalseema and Tamil Nadu.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at most places in Konkan, Goa, Central Maharashtra, Telengana, at many places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Gujarat, north interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep, at a few places in Assam, Meghalaya, Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar plains, West Rajasthan, Saurashtra, Kutch, coastal and south interior Karnataka and Kerala, and at isolated places in Orissa, East Rajasthan and West Madhya Pradesh.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.
