Vaishnodevi pilgrims meet with accident, 7 killed

Seven pilgrims headed for the famous Vaishnodevi temple in Jammu were killed and 35 injured when their bus skidded off the road while negotiating a sharp curve and fell into a rivulet in Mamayee, about 8 km from Katra, early today.

Official sources said three women and two children were among those killed. The injured were admitted to the Government Medical College in Jammu. Some of them are in serious condition.
