Wet spell in parts of South India

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, at many places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, coastal and south interior Karnataka and Kerala, at a few places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, East Rajasthamn, West Madhya Pradesh, Konkan, Goa, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Telangana and Lakshadeep, and at isolated places over the rest of the country outside West Rajasthan, Saurashtra and Kutch, where the weather will be mainly dry.

Heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, coastal Karnataka and Kerala during the next 48 hours.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at most places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Kerala, at many places in Vidarbaha and south interior Karnataka, at a few places in East Uttar Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh, Central Mahrashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, coastal and north interior Karnataka, and at isolated places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, East Rajasthan, East Madhya Pradesh and Telangana.

Very light rain also occurred at isolated places in Assam, Meghalaya, Haryana, Konkan and Goa.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.
