Joginder Singh is chief guest at RSS Dassera rally

Joginder Singh, former director of the Central Bureau of Investigation, will be the chief guest at the annual Dassera rally of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh on October 1 in Nagpur.

The rally has come to be recognised as a major occasion because the sarsanghachalak (RSS chief) delivers a major policy speech on the occasion. It is preceded by a parade by RSS activists chosen for the occasion.

Nagpur in Maharashtra has been the headquarters of the RSS since its inception in 1925.
