More rain in the Andamans

Heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, north madhya Maharashtra, coastal Karnataka and Kerala during the next 48 hours.

The Southwest monsoon has been vigorous in Gujarat region and active in Konkan and Goa.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at most places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and coastal Karnataka, at many places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar plains and madhya Maharashtra, at a few places in Assam, Meghalaya, Gangetic West Bengal, Haryana, Rajasthan, Saurashtra, Kutch, Vidarbha and Lakshadweep, and at isolated places in Orissa, East Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and south interior Karnataka.

Very light rain also occurred at isolated places in Punjab, Rayalaseema and Kerala.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.
