Laloo takes strong exception to PM's remark

Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo Laloo Prasad Yadav today took strong exception to Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's remark on the dismissal of the Rabri Devi government in Bihar.

Laloo Yadav said that the statements of Vajpayee and other Union ministers smacked of irresponsibility and said they should demit their offices immediately.

He said a conspiracy to dislodge the democratically elected government in the state had started with the recent Central Bureau of Investigation raids on the official residence of Chief Minister Rabri Devi.

He made it clear that the state government was not at all afraid of any harsh decision of the Centre and would fight these opportunist forces in the people's court.
