More rains in Bengal

Heavy rains are likely to occur at isolated places in Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, East Madhya Pradesh and Konkan and Goa during the next 48 hours.

The Southwest monsoon has been vigorous in Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa and Bihar plateau, and active in Konkan and Goa.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at most places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and coastal Karnataka, at many places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, the Bihar plains, East Uttar Pradesh and madhya Maharashtra, at a few places in the hills of West Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, East Madhya Pradesh, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Telangana and Kerala, and at isolated places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Punjab, East Rajasthan, Gujarat, coastal Andhra Pradesh and south interior Karnataka.

Very light rain also occurred at isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya. Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places in Konkan and Goa, at many places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Bihar plateau, East Madhya Pradesh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karnataka and Kerala, at a few places in Assam, Meghalaya, Bihar plains, East Uttar Pradesh, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, interior Karnataka and lakshadweep, and at isolated places over the rest of the country outside West Rajasthan where the weather will be mainly dry.
