More rains in Bengal, Orissa

Heavy rains are likely to occur at isolated places in Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Bihar plateau, East Madhya Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep during the next 48 hours.

The Southwest monsoon has been vigorous in Kerala and active in Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar plateau, Gujarat, madhya Maharashtra and coastal Andhra Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at most places in Lakshadweep, at many places in Orissa, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, coastal and north interior Karnataka, at a few places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, Bihar plains, Konkan and Goa and Marathwada, and at isolated places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu and south interior Karnataka.

Very light rain occurred at isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya. Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in West Bengal and Sikkim , Orissa, Bihar plateau, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maaharashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep, at a few places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, Bihar plains, Saurashtra and Kutch, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu and interior Karnataka, and at isolated places over the rest of the country outside West Rajasthan, where the weather will be mainly dry.
