Rain in Bengal, Orissa

Heavy rains are likely to occur at isolated places in Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Bihar plateau, Konkan and Goa, coastal Karnataka and Kerala during the next 48 hours.

The Southwest monsoon has been vigorous in Orissa and active in Gangetic West Bengal, Konkan, Goa and coastal Karnataka.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at most places in East Madhya Pradesh, at many places in East Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, north interior Karnataka, Kerala, and at a few places in the Andaman and Nicobar islands, Bihar, Vidarbha, coastal Andhra Pradesh, south interior Karnataka and at isolated places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, West Madhya Pradesh, Rayalaseema and Tamil Nadu.

Very light rain also occurred at isolated places in West Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Bihar, East Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, coastal and north interior Karnataka and Kerala, at a few places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Arunchal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, East Uttar Pradesh, in the plains of West Uttar Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep, and at isolated places over the rest of the country outside West Rajasthan where weather will be mainly dry.
