Wet spell in parts of North East

Heavy rains are likely to occur at isolated places in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim during the next 48 hours.

The Southwest monsoon has been active in Assam, Meghalaya, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at most places in coastal Karnataka, at many places in Bihar plains, Jammu and Kashmir, Vidarbha, Telangana and south interior Karnataka, at a few places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Bihar plateau, Punjab, East Madhya Pradesh, Konkan, Goa and Kerala, and at isolated places in East Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, madhya Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and north interior Karnataka.

Very light rain occurred at isolated places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, West Madhya Pradesh and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country. Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Truipura, West Bengal, Sikkim, coastal Orissa, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, coastal and south interior Karnataka and Kerala, at a few places in Arunchal Pradesh, interior Orissa, Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, Telangana, north interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep, and at isolated places over the rest of the country outside West Rajasthan, where it will be mainly dry.
