More rains in Andhra

Heavy rains are likely at isolated places in Andhra Pradesh, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Orissa, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, Central Maharashtra, Marathwada, coastal and north interior Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep in the next 48 hours.

The Southwest monsoon has been active in coastal Andhra Pradesh and coastal Karnataka.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at most places in Orissa, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, Telangana, interior Karnataka and Kerala, at many places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Saurashtra, Kutch, Rayalaseema and Lakshadweep, at a few places in Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar plateau, Central Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha and Tamil Nadu, and at isolated places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, East Rajasthan and West Madhya Pradesh.

Very light rain also occurred at isolated places in West Rajasthan.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely at most places in Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karnataka and Kerala, at many places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Orissa, Central Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep, at a few places in West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar plateau, Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, and at isolated places in Arunchal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, Bihar plains, Jammu and Kashmir and South Rajasthan.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country.

Day temperatures were markedly above normal in parts of Assam and Meghalaya, and appreciably above normal in Gangetic West Bengal, Kashmir and in the remaining parts of Assam, Meghalaya and parts of sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and East Madhya Pradesh.

They were above normal in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and parts of West Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha.

They were appreciably below normal in south west Rajasthan and Saurashtra, and below normal in parts of North Rajasthan and Gujarat.

They were normal in Haryana, Kutch, North Konkan, North Central Maharashtra and Marathwada.

Night temperatures were appreciably above normal in Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, North Gujarat, Saurashtra, Vidarbha and parts of Assam, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.

They were above normal in Manipur, Kerala and in parts of Punjab.

They were normal in Orissa, Jammu and Kashmir and North Konkan.
