Another unexploded US Cruise missile found in PakistanAnother unexploded Cruise missile fired by the US ship to destroy Saudi terrorist Osama bin Laden's training camps in Afghanistan in August was found yesterday in Kharan, 40 km from the site where Pakistan conducted its nuclear tests in May in the Chagai region of Baluchistan. This is the third unexploded missile found within the territory of Baluchistan since August when American ships rained Cruise missiles on terrorist camps of Osama in Khost and Jalalabad in Afghanistan, close to the Pakistan border. The discovery of the third unexploded missile has strengthened the suspicions of those who argue that along with the terrorist camps in Afghanistan, the United States also targeted the sites where Pakistan conducted nuclear tests. A member of parliament told the Urdu service of British Broadcasting Corporation yesterday that the discovery of the third unexploded missile so close to the nuclear test site indicated that the United States also wanted to hit these sites to cause havoc in the region. It is said that some of the missiles, due to technical failure, fell on the territory of Baluchistan instead of hitting their targets in Afghanistan. This had caused terrible embarrassment to the Nawaz Sharief government which was accused of having allowed the use of Pakistan air space for attacks on Osama, who has now become a hero for some fundamentalists groups in Pakistan. Osama had escaped the missile attacks while a number of people, including six Pakistanis who were under training in those camps died. UNI
