More rain forecast over Andamans, AP, TN

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Kerala and at many places in Rayalaseema, Lakshadweep and at a few places in the Andaman and Nicobar islands, Konkan and Goa, central Maharashtra, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka and at isolated places in Orissa.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places in the Andaman and Nicobar islands and at many places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu. Isolated cases of rainfall are likely in south interior Karnataka, Kerala and at a few places in Orissa, south Konkan, Goa, Rayalaseema, north interior Karnataka, Lakshadweep and at isolated places in south central Maharashtra, south Marathwada and Telangana. Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country.

Day temperatures were markedly above normal in some parts of Himachal Pradesh, Saurashtra and were appreciably above normal in some parts Assam, Meghalaya and north Konkan.

They were above normal in Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Bihar, southwest Rajasthan, east Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat region, north Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha and in some parts of west Madhya Pradesh and Telangana.

Night temperatures were below normal in some parts of Manipur, Orissa and were markedly above normal in some parts of west Rajasthan. They were appreciably above normal in the plains of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, east Rajasthan and in some parts of Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra, Vidarbha and were above normal in sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, north central Maharashtra, Marathwada and Telangana.
