Cold nights in Gujarat, Goa

Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at isolated places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in north Gujarat region and Goa, and were below normal in parts of Punjab, Kashmir, east Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch and of north interior Karnataka.

They were appreciably above normal in parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Himachal Pradesh and east Rajasthan, and were above normal in West Bengal, Sikkim, Andhra Pradesh, coastal Tamil Nadu and in parts of Vidarbha.

They were normal over the rest of the country outside Arunachal Pradesh from where the data were sparse.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at a few places in the Andaman and Nicobar islands and at isolated places in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.
