Cold wave setting in over Gujarat, north Maharashtra

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in the Andaman and Nicobar islands and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep. Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country.

Night temperatures were below normal in some parts of Saurashtra and Kutch, south Maharashtra and Vidarbha. They were markedly above normal in Assam and Meghalaya, in some parts of Haryana, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim and in some parts of Rayalaseema in Andhra Pradesh. They were above normal in the Bihar plateau, Punjab, coastal Andhra Pradesh and in some parts of east Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and north interior Karnataka. Temperatures were normal over the rest of the country.
