Night temperature dips below zero in Srinagar

Rain or snow is likely to occur at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, and at isolated places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at a few places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura and at isolated places in Assam, Meghalaya, coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Kerala in the last 24 hours.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of Gujarat state and west Madhya Pradesh and below normal in south Konkan and Goa.

They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Assam, Meghalaya, Orissa, Bihar, coastal Andhra Pradesh, and parts of West Bengal, Sikkim, and south Gujarat, and above normal in parts of Haryana, west Rajasthan, Rayalaseema, north Tamil Nadu and south interior Karnataka.

They were normal in the rest of the country except for Arunachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh from where data were sparse.
