Rain continues in the Andamans

Heavy rains are likely to occur at isolated places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in the next 48 hours.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, at many places in coastal Karnataka, at a few places in Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep, and at isolated places in coastal Orissa, south Konkan, Goa, south-central Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and north interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at most places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, at many places in coastal Karnataka, at a few places in central Maharashtra, Marathwada and Rayalaseema, and at isolated places in west Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and south interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Night temperatures were appreciably above normal in Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, south-central Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, south coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema, north interior Karnataka and parts of Assam, Meghalaya and Punjab.

They were above normal in the hills of west Uttar Pradesh, Jammu, north coastal Andhra Pradesh and parts of Tamil Nadu and south interior Karnataka.

Night temperatures were normal over the rest of the country outside Arunachal Pradesh and the plains of west Uttar Pradesh from where data were sparse.
