Wet weather continues in the Andamans

Heavy rains are likely at isolated places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Orissa, east Madhya Pradesh and coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 48 hours.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at most places in Orissa, at many places in east Madhya Pradesh, at a few places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, the Bihar plateau, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Lakshadweep, and at isolated places in Gangetic West Bengal, west Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Telangana and Tamil Nadu.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely at most places in east Madhya Pradesh, at many places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Orissa and coastal Andhra Pradesh, at a few places in Bihar plateau, Vidarbha, Telangana and Lakshadweep, and at isolated places in Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar plains, east Uttar Pradesh, Marathwada, Rayalaseema and Kerala.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in Kashmir and below normal in Jammu.and in parts of east Rajasthan, Kutch and Tamil Nadu.

They were markedly above normal in east Uttar Pradesh, parts of Bihar plains and Madhya Pradesh, and appreciably above normal in West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Bihar plateau, Haryana and Vidarbha, and in parts of West Rajasthan, Gujarat Region, Telangana and in the remaining parts of Bihar plains and of Madhya Pradesh.

They were above normal in parts of Saurashtra and normal over the rest of the country outside Arunachal Pradesh from where the data were sparse.
