Andamans in for more showers

Heavy rains are likely at isolated places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands during the next 48 hours.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at most places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at isolated places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, coastal, south interior Karnataka and Kerala.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely at most places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, at many places in coastal Tamil Nadu, at a few places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, and at isolated places in coastal Orissa, interior Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country.

Night temperatures were below normal in parts of east Rajasthan and Kutch.

They were appreciably above normal in Bihar plains, east Uttar Pradesh, coastal Karnataka, and in parts of east Madhya Pradesh and were above normal in Orissa, coastal Andhra Pradesh and in parts of Bihar plateau, in the plains of west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, west Rajasthan, south central Maharashtra and south interior Karnataka, and in the remaining parts of east Madhya Pradesh.

They were normal over the rest of the country outside Arunachal Pradesh from where the data were sparse.
