Hot day in Assam, Meghalaya

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Andaman and Nicobar islands, Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep, and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh and north interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at many places in Kerala, at a few places in Andaman and Nicobar islands, Madhya Maharashtra, Telengana, Tamil Nadu and coastal and south interior Karnataka, and at isolated places in Rayalseema, Marathwada and north interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Heat wave conditions prevailed in parts of West Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Maharashtra.

Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in Assam, Meghalaya and in parts of coastal Karnataka, and above normal in sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, coastal Orissa, Haryana, Punjab, East Rajasthan, Konkan and Goa.

They were appreciably below normal in parts of Bihar plateau and Telengana, and below normal in coastal Andhra Pradesh and parts of East Uttar Pradesh, Vidarbha, Rayalseema and Tamil Nadu.

They were normal over the rest of the country outside Arunachal Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh from where data was sparse.
