108 icons of Lord Siva for Hawaii

Icons of Lord Siva, in rare postures of Bharata Natyam, will be installed in the Hawaii islands of the United States.

These 108 panchaloha idols, artistically crafted by eminent sthapathy Devasenapathya Siva, would adorn various temples in Hawaii.

The sthapathy (master craftsman), a recipient of the President award, had made these idols, each 18 inches high at Swamimalai near Thanjavur.

Icons of Lord Siva in dancing postures could be seen in the big temple (Brahadeeswarar) in Thanjavur, Lord Iravatheeswara Swami temple at Dharasuram and Sri Nataraja temple in Chidambaram.
