Wet weather likely over Arunachal, Assam, Meghalaya...

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, and at isolated places in Gangetic West Bengal, coastal Orissa, in the hills of West Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, South Central Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, interior Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country.

Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and coastal and southern interior Karnataka.

They were above normal in parts of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, West Rajasthan, Konkan, Goa, Central Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh.

They were appreciably below normal in parts of Gangetic West Bengal, and below normal in parts of Orissa and Bihar.

They were normal over the rest of the country outside Arunachal Pradesh from where data was sparse.

Heat wave conditions prevailed in parts of East Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at a few places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Central Maharashtra, Kerala and at isolated places in Assam, Meghalaya, Gangetic West Bengal and northern interior Karnataka.
