Sharief seeks tension-free ties with India

Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharief today conveyed to his Indian counterpart Atal Bihari Vajpayee, his government's desire for tension-free relations with India.

In a message while overflying Indian territory on the way to Hongkong, Sharief said, ''I would like to convey our sincere greetings and reiterate our earnest desire for tension-free, good-neighbourly and co-operative relations between our two countries.''
