Cold wave in parts of north-east, northRain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, and at one or two places in Gangetic West Bengal, coastal Orissa and coastal Andhra Pradesh. Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country. Rain or thundershowers occurred almost at all places in Assam and Meghalaya, at many places in the sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, and at a few places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. Very light rain occurred at one or two places in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country. Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in Tamil Nadu and some parts of south Telangana and Karnataka. They were above normal in Kashmir, north Gujarat region, north Konkan, south central Maharashtra, south coastal Andhra Pradesh and Kerala, and in some parts of Kutch. They were appreciably to markedly below normal in Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, West Bengal, Sikkim, interior Orissa, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, the hills of west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Vidarbha and parts of east Rajasthan. The temperatures were below normal in north coastal Orissa. They were normal over the rest of the country outside Arunchal Pradesh and the plains of west Uttar Pradesh. Cold wave conditions prevailed in some parts of Bihar and Madhya Pradesh. Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in Sikkim, Gangetic West Bengal, east Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Vidarbha, in the remaining parts of Madhya Pradesh, and in some parts of south Rajasthan, Gujarat, north central Maharashtra, Marathwada and north Telangana. They were appreciably above normal in south coastal Andhra Pradesh and in some parts of Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Vidarbha, in the remaining parts of Madhya Pradesh and in some parts of south Rajasthan, Gujarat, north central Maharashtra, Marathwada and north Telangana. They were appreciably above normal in south coastal Andhra Pradesh and in some parts of Tamil Nadu and interior Karnataka, above normal in Kerala, and normal over the rest of the country outside Arunachal Pradesh and the plains of west Uttar Pradesh.
