Heat wave in south India

Rain or snow is likely to occur at one or two places in the hills of Uttar Pradesh (west), Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Orissa and at one or two places in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and east Madhya Pradesh.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country.

Rain or snow occurred at a few places in Himachal Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers occurred almost at all the places in Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim and at one or two places in Orissa and east Uttar Pradesh.

Very light rain occurred at one or two places in Bihar plains and west Madhya Pradesh.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Heat wave conditions prevailed in some parts of Saurashtra, central Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, Rayalaseema and north interior Karnataka.

Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in some parts of west Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka. It was above normal in some parts of Orissa, east Rajasthan, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and in the remaining parts of Saurashtra, Kutch, central Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu.

Temperatures were appreciably to markedly below normal in Assam, Meghalaya and West Bengal, Sikkim, and below normal in some parts of Bihar and Haryana.

Temperatures were normal over the rest of the country outside Arunachal Pradesh and west Uttar Pradesh.
