HLDR-BSP combine leads in six seats

The Haryana Lok Dal (Rashtriya)-Bahujan Samaj Party alliance is leading in six Lok Sabha constituencies in Haryana, while the Congress is ahead in three and the ruling Haryana Vikas Party in the remaining one seat.

Former deputy prime minister Devi Lal (HLDR) is leading over his nearest Congress rival in Rohtak by more than 1,700 votes. HLDR candidate Kailasho Devi established an unbeatable lead of over 82,000 votes in Kurukshetra.

The HLDR nominees are also surging ahead in Sonepat, Hisar and Sirsa.

Dissolved Lok Sabha deputy speaker Suraj Bhan (BJP) is trailing behind BSP's Aman Kumar Nagra in Ambala (reserved) by over 2,900 votes.

Former chief minister Bhajan Lal (Cong) is leading over his nearest rival, BJP's I D Swami, in Karnal by over 8,300 votes. Congress candidates Inderjit Singh and Khurshid Ahmed are also leading in the Mahendergarh and Faridabad constituencies respectively.

HVP candidate Surinder Kumar, chief minister Bansi Lal's son, is leading in Bhiwani over his nearest rival Ajay Chautala (HLDR) by more than 2,900 votes.
