Heavy showers to continue in Kerala, Konkan, Goa

Heavy rainfall is likely to occur at a few places in Konkan, Goa, coastal Karnataka and Kerala, and at isolated places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, sub-Himalyan West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Gujarat and Lakshadweep during the next 48 hours.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Konkan, Goa, coastal Karnataka and Kerala, at many places in the plains of West Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep, at a few places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, the hills of West Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telengana, and at isolated places over the rest of the country.

The Southwest monsoon has been vigorous in Haryana and active in sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Konkan, Goa, coastal Karnataka and Kerala.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at many places in Bihar, the plains of West Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, East Rajasthan, madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Telengana and Lakshadweep, at a few places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands,Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, East Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rayalseema and interior Karnataka and at isolated places in Gangetic West Bengal, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, West Rajasthan, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
