Wet weather to continue in parts of Andamans, Konkan...

Heavy rains are likely to occur in isolated places in the Andaman and Nicobar islands, Konkan, Goa, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep during the next 48 hours.

The Southwest monsoon has been active over coastal Karnataka and Kerala.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at most places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Konkan, Goa and Lakshadweep, and at many places in the Andaman and Nicobar islands, Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa and at a few places in Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra, Kutch, Vidarbha, coastal Andhra Pradesh and interior Karnataka, and at isolated places in madhya Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places in Andaman and Nicobar islands, Konkan, Goa, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep, at many places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, south interior Karnataka and at a few places in Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha and north interior Karnataka, and at isolated places in East Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country.

Heatwave conditions prevailed in parts of Haryana, Rajasthan and Gujarat.

Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in some parts of Punjab and Kutch, and were normal in the remaining parts of West Rajasthan.
