AIADMK continues with walkouts in ParliamentThe All India Anna DMK today continued with its strategy of staging walkouts in both Houses of Parliament to press for the dismissal of the Tamil Nadu government led by the rival Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. As soon as Question Hour was over in the Rajya Sabha, AIADMK leader G Swaminathan was on his feet complaining of increasing ''terrorist'' activity in the state. He and his agitated party members then walked out of the house. In the Lok Sabha, the walkout came during zero hour when former industry minister and DMK member Murasoli Maran stood up to speak on the Maruti issue. In Madras, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi today denied the AIADMK's charge that the Inter Services Intelligence of Pakistan was active in the state. "Not here, only in Kashmir", he said, while talking to newsmen after a cabinet meeting at the state secretariat. Referring to the continued walkout by AIADMK members from Parliament demanding the dismissal of his government, the chief minister said, "I am not bothered." Asked if he would meet Prime Minister A B Vajpayee in the wake of the recent developments, Karunandhi said he would do so if necessary. UNI
