Vigorous monsoons in Gujarat

The southwest monsoon has been vigorous in Gujarat and active in west Madhya Pradesh, Konkan and Goa. Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in the Andaman and Nicobar islands, coastal and south interior Karnataka and Kerala, at many places in east Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra, Kutch, Vidarbha, at a few places in Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Bihar, the hills of west Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Lakshadweep and at isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, east Uttar Pradesh, east Rajasthan, madhya Maharashtra, Telangana and Rayalseema. Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places in the Andaman and Nicobar islands, west Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, coastal Karnataka and Kerala, at many places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, sub-Himlayan West Bengal, Sikkim, east Rajasthan, east Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch, Marathwada, Vidarbha and Lakshadweep, at a few places in Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, the hills of west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan, madhya Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and interior Karnataka and at isolated places over the rest of the country.
