PM to pilot Lok Pal Bill

Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee will introduce the Lok Pal Bill in the Lok Sabha on August 3.

Disclosing this in New Delhi on Tuesday, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Madan Lal Khurana told newspersons he had informed Speaker G M C Balayogi about it in writing.

"We want to ensure that the war our government has waged against corruption succeeds," he said.

Replying to a question, Khurana said it would be their endeavour to get the Lok Pal Bill passed during the current session of Parliament.
