Congress to form govt if BJP continues to lead country to chaosThe Congress has asserted that it is ready to form a viable and stable government with the help of like-minded parties if the Bharatiya Janata Party-led coalition continues with its present trend of leading the country to chaos and an uncertain future . Party spokesman Ajit Jogi told the media on Tuesday that the Congress was very clear in its stand and there were no differences in the party on this issue. Replying to a question on senior party leader and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Sharad Pawar's reported statement that there would be chaos and instability if the BJP-led government was thrown out now, Jogi said he had talked to the former who made it clear that he wanted to emphasise and underline the importance of a viable alternative. ''There is no difference in the party,'' Jogi said, responding to persistent questions. The credibility of this government is declining day by day and the people want a change, he said. Home Minister Lal Kishinchand Advani himself has admitted mismanagement of the government, he said. Jogi also condemned the deportation of Bengali-speaking residents from Bombay. He said this was an exhibition of the lunatic fringe of fascism. The move is illegal and unconstitutional, he said. UNI
