Wet spell to continue in east and south India

Heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Konkan, Goa, coastal Karnataka and Kerala during the next 48 hours.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places in Konkan, Goa, coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadweep and at many places in the Andaman and Nicobar islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim and at a few places in Orissa, in the hills of west Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, interior Karnataka and at isolated places in Bihar, in the plains of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab and Madhya Pradesh. Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.
