Monsoons active in West Bengal and Sikkim

Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim during the next 48 hours.

The monsoon has been active in sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Konkan and Goa, at a few places in the Andaman and Nicobar islands, Orissa, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Kerala and Lakshadweep and at isolated places in Haryana, Tamil Nadu and coastal and north interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather prevailed in the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in Arunchal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, at a few places in the Andaman and Nicobar islands, the Bihar plateau, north Uttar Pradesh, the hills of west Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Konkan, Goa, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep and at isolated places in south Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, madhya Maharashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather will prevail in the rest of the country.
