Wet weather continues in Bengal

Heavy rains are likely at isolated places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and Lakshadweep during the next 48 hours.

The Southwest monsoon has been active in Gangetic West Bengal, in Bihar plains and Himachal Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at most places in Lakshadweep, at many places in Assam, Meghalaya, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Konkan, Goa, coastal and south interior Karnataka and Kerala, and at a few places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Orissa, East Uttar Pradesh, West Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, madhya Maharashtra and Rayalaseema and at isolated places in Bihar plateau, Haryana, East Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra, Kutch, Vidarbha, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Gujarat, coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep, and at a few places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, Telangana, Rayalaseema, interior Karnataka and at isolated places over the rest of the country.
