Three ISI men nabbed in Hyderabad, India

Three agents of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence who had infiltrated into India on a mission to blow up places of worship, were arrested by the Hyderabad police on Thursday night along with their local accomplice.

On a tip-off by the intelligence officials, the police task force and special investigating team commandos raided their hideouts at Toli Chowki in the city and Pahade-Sharif in Ranga Reddy district, police sources said.

The ISI agents were identified as Junaid, Mansoor and Shakeel, all Pakistani nationals. They had planned to blow up places of worship in several parts of the country, including Dehradun, Hyderabad, Lucknow and New Delhi, police said.

A sizeable quantity of RDX timers and some Chinese-made pistols were seized from the agents, who confessed that they were trained to make powerful bombs and use rocket launchers.

The ISI agents reportedly had links with Kashmiri militants, including the Hijbul Mujahadeen and Harkat-ul-Ansar.
