IAF to get land for headquarters

The Gujarat government has decided to allot more than 43.1 million square metres of land at Koba in Gandhinagar district to the Indian Air Force for its south-western air command headquarters.

The decision was taken at a state cabinet meeting on Wednesday.

The Union government had decided to shift the IAF's south-western air command headquarters from Rajasthan's Jodhpur to Gandhinagar.

The IAF would get the land at Rs 75 per square metre.
