Search on for kidnapped CJM

The police and security forces have launched a massive hunt to trace Tamenglong district Chief Judicial Magistrate M Ibohal Singh who was kidnapped by militants on Sunday.

The CJM and his wife were returning from a function in Imphal when militants whisked him away.

On Monday, CJM Singh's family met Chief Minister L Nipamacha Singh who instructed the police and civil authorities to 'leave no stones unturned' in rescuing him.

The legal community in the state has condemned the kidnapping.
