Yeltsin's Delhi visit put offIndia and Russia have agreed to reschedule Russian President Boris Yeltsin's Delhi visit to a later date. "Fresh dates are being explored," an external affairs ministry spokesman said. In March 1997, during then prime minister H D Deve Gowda's visit to Moscow, it was agreed that Indo-Russian level exchanges should take place on an annual basis. Accordingly, Yeltsin was to pay a State visit to India in 1998, and the second half of January was being considered for it. UNI |
