Cold wave in Kashmir

Cold wave conditions prevailed in Kashmir.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in parts of Orissa, central Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha and Andhra Pradesh, and were below normal in south Konkan and Goa, Karnataka and in parts of Tamil Nadu and in the remaining parts of Andhra Pradesh.

They were appreciably above normal in parts of Haryana, and were above normal in parts of Gangetic West Bengal, Punjab, Rajasthan and of Saurashtra and Kutch.

They were normal over the rest of the country outside Arunachal Pradesh and the plains of west Uttar Pradesh from where the data were sparse.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at isolated places in Kerala .

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.
