Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in Orissa, central Maharashtra and in parts of Marathwada, Telengana, Tamil Nadu and interior Karnataka. They were below normal in Bihar plateau, Vidarbha and in the remaining districts of central Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu.

They were appreciably above normal in parts of north Gujarat and above normal in Sikkim, Jammu and Kashmir and Madhya Pradesh.

They were normal over the rest of the country outside Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya and east Uttar Pradesh from where the data were sparse.
