Srinagar under snow

Heavy rains are likely at isolated places in coastal Tamil Nadu during the next 48 hours.

The Northeast monsoon has been vigorous in Tamil Nadu.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at a few places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep, and at isolated places in Kerala.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

They were appreciably above normal in east Uttar Pradesh and in parts of west Rajasthan, Saurashtra and Kutch, and were above normal in Sikkim, Haryana and parts of Kerala.
