AP cops kill 13 Naxals in encounters

Thirteen Naxalites of the banned People's War Group were killed in three separate encounters with the Andhra Pradesh police this morning.

Police said in Hyderabad that 11 extremists were killed in an encounter at Nagampet village in Karimnagar district at about 6.30am IST. Five big and four small weapons were recovered from the spot.

In another incident at Rudraram village in Medak district, one extremist was shot dead.

Another Naxalite was killed in the third encounter at Kamuja village in Adilabad district.
