Below normal in Kashmir, above in Himachal

Rain or thundershowers occurred at isolated places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Tamil Nadu and Kerala in the last 24 hours. Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in the Andamans, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep. Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in Kashmir, south-west Rajasthan, and parts of the Bihar plains, north Gujarat, and north-central Maharashtra.

They were below normal in Jammu, west Vidarbha, and parts of the plains of west Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, south-east Madhya Pradesh and south interior Karnataka.

Night temperatures were markedly above normal in Himachal Pradesh, north-west Rajasthan and parts of Marathwada. They were appreciably above normal in sub-Himalayan west Bengal and parts of Assam and Meghalaya.

Night temperatures were above normal in Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, south-central Maharashtra and the remaining parts of Assam and Meghalaya.

They were normal in the rest of the country except for Arunachal Pradesh, Orissa, Saurashtra, Kutch and Telangana, from where data were sparse.
