Night temperatures dip radically in Gujarat, RajasthanRain or thundershowers occurred at a few places in Tamil Nadu and Kerala in the past 24 hours. Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country. Rain or snow is likely to occur at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep. Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country. Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in south-west Rajasthan, south-east Madhya Pradesh, Kutch and parts of Gujarat region. They were below normal in some parts of Orissa and Punjab. They were appreciably above normal in Assam and Meghalaya, north-west Rajasthan, Saurashtra and south-central Maharashtra, and above normal in east Uttar Pradesh, parts of Konkan, Goa, Andhra Pradesh and north interior Karnataka. Night temperatures were normal over the rest of the country except for Arunachal Pradesh from where data were sparse.
