13 Rajasthani MLAs join CongressMonday, August 31 was a fortifying day for the Congress party. For 13 Rajasthan legislators, including three members of the Shekhawat ministry, joined its fold, and the All India Indira Congress (socialist), led by former Union minister Seesh Ram Ola, MP, merged with it. Former minister and Rajasthan Rashtriya Janata Dal president Dulha Ram, too, jumped on to the Congress bandwagon along with his supporters. Of the 13 MLAs, two are from the Bharatiya Janata Party and one from the Janata Dal. The remaining were independents. Ganga Ram Choudhary, revenue minister in the Shekhawat cabinet, Jan Singh Choudhary, agriculture minister, and Sasidatta, the law minister, are among the MLAs who joined the Congress. UNI
