Showers over Kerala, Karnataka

Heavy rains are likely to occur at isolated places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Konkan, Goa, coastal Karnataka and Kerala during the next 48 hours.

Rain or thuindershowers are likely to occur at most places in Konkan, Goa, coastal Karnataka and Kerala, at many places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, East Rajasthan, East Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat region, madhya Maharashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Lakshadweep, and at a few places over the rest of the country outside Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu and south interior Karnataka where it will occur at isolated places.

The Southwest monsoon has been active in East Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Konkan and Goa. Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in coastal Karnataka and at many places in West Bengal, Sikkim, Saurashtra, Kutch and Vidarbha, and at a few places in Nagaland, Manipuir, Mizoram, Tripura, Orissa, Bihar, in the hills of West Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, East Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, West Rajasthan, Rayalaseema, interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.
