Orissa, Kerala in for wet weather

Heavy rains are likely to occur at isolated places in Orissa, North Uttar Pradesh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, coastal and south interior Karnataka and Kerala during the next 48 hours.

The Southwest monsoon has been vigorous in Orissa and coastal Andhra Pradesh, and active in Kerala.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at most places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, madhya Maharashtra and Lakshadweep, at many places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Konkan, Goa and coastal and south interior Karnataka, at a few places in Assam, Meghalaya, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Telangana and Tamil Nadu, and at isolated places in Gangetic West Bengal, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat state and Rayalaseema.

Very light rain also occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Vidarbha and north interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Orissa, coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karnataka and Kerala, at many places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, East Rajasthan, Konkan, Goa, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu and interior Karnataka, and at a few places over the rest of the country.
